Here's two of my favorite photos from an engagement shoot on Sunday of Dustin and Julie. I took them at Dustin's grandmother's house, which is right across the street from my parents' house.
I like the shots~especially the first one~I guess it's the unexpected yellow siding in the background that makes it kinda cool. I can actually feel the "southerness" of both photos. You know it's good when a photographer can make you "feel". Love your work as always.
Thanks for the kind words. It was really cool to make an image using a barn that I've been looking at since I was 12. Sometimes, shooting someone against such a colorful wall doesn't work because the subjects tend to take on that same hue. But I'm pretty pleased with these shots. Thanks again for the compliment — it means a lot when people can "feel" what I'm trying to convey.
