photsoup upgrade coming!

I'm working on a slick new interface for photosoup, so stay tuned...I should have it up in the next few days. It's one of those fancy Wordpress templates. Then hopefully I can get some things done around here.

New Website!

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I recently launched a new website: kdlphoto.com. I've still got kevinlilesphotography.com, but I've moved kevinlilesweddings.com over to the new digs. I'm now offering portrait sessions for families (or anyone, for that matter), as well as weddings, and I thought it would be easier to have them all in one place. Let me know what you think! And please let me know if you experience any problems with the new site or have any suggestions.

Annual Tilney Avenue Box Car Race

Yes, there's a box car race named after the street I live on. And yes, the participants are grown men. In this particular heat, Aaron Scibetta, center, grimaces while trying to take the lead away from his brother, Jordan. Stay tuned for next year's race.

Bad day for Tigers

It's got to be bad when the mascot gives up. I guess I would too if I were getting beat by more than 20 points. Needless to say, I was at the Alabama-Clemson game Saturday night at the Georgia Dome, where John Parker Wilson and 24th-ranked Bama rolled their Tide all over the Tigers, which were ranked 8th (before Saturday, that is).

These are my favorite four photos from a wedding I shot this past weekend in Montgomery, Ala. Hurricane Fay had to come throw a kink in things, but we made it through.

Drive

This is Jason driving home from the Smashing Pumpkins concert Friday night in Charlotte. I would have photos from the show, but we were barred from bringing cameras into the arena. It was a great show!

The Greenfields

It was such a pleasure to photograph an old friend from high school and her beautiful family today. These three are definitely my favorite from the shoot, though there was a lot of good ones to pick from. I'm going to start offering personalized portrait packages, where I come to your home and take photographs like these (more to come...).
