Raindrops

I've been meaning to post an image or two, but I just haven't shot anything lately that I've been crazy about. I shot this Tuesday afternoon after we finally got some rain around here. I still think this image could've been better, but considering the positive feedback I got after it ran in the paper, I figured I would share it. Oh yeah, that's the top of the Spalding County courthouse reflected in the raindrops. Let me know what you think.

I think this is a great picture. It's amazing to see something so detailed like that. Just walking by that little splash of rain I would have never noticed that with the naked eye. Great Job as always!!!

Very unexpected---very cool as always from you. But one does have to wonder---why ARE you always at the courthouse or parking deck these days? Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks for taking into consideration my suggestion of macro photography. I would still like to see some animal or water life shot like this style. Can't wait to see what else comes next! Overall, good image.

Thanks for the compliments. I've been trying to get this shot for about a year, but could never manage to get it right. There was always a problem with the drops not cooperating or either the image inside the raindrops would be out of focus. The funny thing is that, inside photojournalism circles, this image is cliche. Anyways, thanks again for the kind words.
