Cameron Crazies

I was up at Cameron Indoor Stadium at Duke University earlier this week assisting Sports Illustrated, so I figured I would take a few pictures of my own. This place is simply amazing. And the fans, well, they're simply crazy.

Madison, Ga.

Madison is always beautiful, but the fall is an especially great time to take a walk downtown. The rain (which was much needed), really brought out the colors of the leaves and made for a good picture. Let me know what you think.

MediaStorm spotlight

MediaStorm has some of the best multimedia storytelling that I've seen, and this story is no different. This is about Marine Lance Cpl. James Blake Miller, and the demons he struggles with after serving in Iraq. You may have seen this photograph -- it was taken in Nov. 2004 by Los Angeles Times photojournalist Luis Sinco, and it has been published numerous times. This story delves deep into Miller's life, and Sinco's photographs are simply amazing. Take a minute (a little over 16 to be exact), and check this out.

End of the Road

I went to the first playoff game of the season tonight, which incidentally became Griffin's last game this year after they lost 41-7 to Banneker. It felt good to shoot a football game without any deadlines. Anywho, hopefully I'll have some more images to post this week.

DROUGHT!

I've seen the pictures in the paper and the footage on the evening news, but I didn't come to appreciate how bad this drought is until I walked out on what used to be Lake Lanier today. I was in town for a PR assignment, but I made it a point to check out the lake (what's left of it anyway).
