Since I haven't shot anything cool lately, I though I would post some of my friend and fellow photojournalist, Andrew Craft. Craft, a staff photographer with The Fayetteville Observer in N.C., is on assignment with writer Kevin Maurer in Afghanistan. Click on the picture to go to the blog they're keeping while over there. I want to be like Andrew when I grow up.
that you see a lawnmower on fire. I just had to take photos after I saw this lawnmower ablaze at The Pines golf course in Pike County today. The funniest thing was hearing the guy who was riding it talking about it in the club house. "Tell 'em it's gone," he said. "I mean the whole thing...tires and all." You'd just have to know Pike County to know how funny that is.

Meet Noah Jackson Moss, a 7-lb, 10-oz. bundle of hair and wrinkled skin who entered the world on Tuesday (I didn't know they made hands that small). He's the son of Vanetta and Jared, who I photographed earlier in a maternity portrait session. You can see those photos here.
